We have had another glorious day in Hungary, our last day with our new friends. It has been such an important time for each traveller, it has shaped our lives, and shown us many new things about ourselves, our Lord, and the cause of Christ around the world. Before we departed for Hungary, we prayed about the trip, asking the Lord that as we serve, we would be served, as we bless, that we would be blessed, and as we give, we would be given to. Now at the end of our trip, we can see that God has answered our prayers beyond our expectations. We have received so much! A highlight today was our "Goodbye Party" after lunch today. Pastor Zsolt led the sharing, giving thanks for our time in Bodrog. We then gave our love and thanks to our wonderful hosts who have such a rich and faith-filled mission here. We have so enjoyed learning their stories, and how they have been so faithful to God's call upon their lives to be place of refuge and Christian education for their children. Upon closing, we were given wonderful hand-sewn keepsakes of the school here.
We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work, produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1: 2-3.
