Windows, Windows, and more Windows...
(starring a commercial break to celebrate Mr. Kelley's birthday)

Hungarians, we would have starting walking towards you this morning, but it began to drizzle rain, and  we really wanted to finish up our window project.  We successfully sanded and primed the first two floors of the Don Camillo Guest House - about 20 sets of windows!  Guess we'll have to just meet in Boston and catch up on the flight-line ride back to Candia - we miss you too!

Katharina made Mr. Kelley a genuine Swiss Birthday cake! We celebrated his birthday during our afternoon snack.  It was like an accelerated Danish with a cream toping.  There was not a crumb remaining!

A glorious evening surprise on our way to devotions.  The clouds cleared for the first time providing us with a glimpse of the ALPS!!!! Miss W ran inside to gather the troops almost like she found the tomb empty - except she saw mountains. We jumped for joy and shouted as we beheld the mountains they really do exist! As Isaiah spake in the days of old Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, the Earth is filled with his glory!

Our evening ended with a celebration of the Lord's Supper with the Don Camillo Community.  Christ's love supersedes all languages and although not in our native language we were all able to reflect on the cross.  Words are hard to express the experience.

Apparently this is what happens when you paint for too long!

Happy Birthday Mr. Kelley!
